We Strive to Breed for Quality
Willow Pond Farm is a 220 acre family owned Hereford cattle operation. The farm is 60 km. from Halifax in the beautiful Musquodoboit Valley, behind the Stanfield International Airport. Pat and Larry Ward purchased the farm and its first cattle in 1974. Over the past thirty five years they have acquired nationally known genetics focusing on performance orientated Herefords. The Ward family have developed a herd of 35 brood cows heavily influenced by Remitall Online 122L and Keynote 20X bloodlines. We are presently using a Patriot and Harvie Raftsman sons as our herd sires. In addition to the seedstock operation, Willow Pond Farm markets natural, premium beef, sold at central locations through out HRM. Thanks for stopping by and browsing the web site.
